The Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC), established in 1903, is one of the oldest trade organizations in the region. Over the years, it has grown into a leading commercial institution in Malaysia, recognized by both public and private sectors. It received the Award Certificate of Excellent Society from the Registrar of Societies in 2003 and awarded ISO 9001 certifications since 2006

The Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) has a direct and indirect membership base of approximately 10,000, comprising individuals, corporations, commercial associations, and trade guilds. Its members span a diverse range of business sectors, including enterprises, financial institutions, listed companies, professional services, housing and construction, garments and textiles, sole agencies, and retail.
The Chamber has great rapport with the Government at regional as well as national level through its direct affiliation to the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and indirect connection with the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia.
