1. OBJECTIVES

1. To encourage the participation of the younger generation in strengthening the organization, and to motivate and empower them to become future leaders of the Chamber, in order to achieve the Chamber’s established objectives.
2. To nurture the younger generation with entrepreneurial knowledge and businesses intelligence, and taking into cognizance of the shift in the socio-economic paradigm.
3. To be a platform for business network.

2. TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. To conduct public relations, interaction meeting, business management knowledge, sharing of experiences, career planning, career guidance, seminars or courses on grants and business loans provided by the government, factory or company visits, etc.   
2. To hold forums for members talking about the fields or areas of their respective expertise as a learning platform.

3. AGE LIMIT

1. Any Malaysian youth of Chinese origin between the ages of 18 to 45.

4. MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

1. All individual members of the Chamber of ages 21 to 45 shall automatically become the members of the Section (they are not required to pay contributions to the Section)
2. Any male or female youth entrepreneur in business and profession or company executive working in Penang of ages 18 to 45 shall be eligible for membership in the Section.
3. Any member who is 45 years old shall continue to be a valid member of the Section until the next Annual General Meeting of PCCC.
4. Those applying for membership are required to submit the completed application form together with a sum of RM200 as Contributions to the Section for the deliberation and approval of Section Committee Meeting, Executive Committee and General Committee. The said sum shall be refunded if the application is not accepted.
5. The Committee of the Section shall regulate the members’ conduct and affairs. Action may be taken against any member who violates these Rules and Regulations or tarnishes the reputation and image of the PCCC or the Section. All actions taken shall be reported to the PCCC General Committee.

5. CONTRIBUTIONS TO SECTION

1. Members to the Section shall be liable to pay Contributions to the Section, such Contributions shall and manner of payment shall be decided by the Committee of the Section in consultation with the PCCC Executive Committee.

6. FUNDS

1. Young Entrepreneur Section may accept funds from the general public with the prior approval of the President of the Chamber.
2. Young Entrepreneur Section shall use the fund to promote its activities not inconsistent with those of the Chamber.
3. The Chamber Hon. Treasurer shall be in charge of the Funds.
